Back To School - 10 Reasons To Be Glad the School Holidays Are Over...and 10 Reasons Why Not To Be

Ten reasons to be glad that the children are back at school:

1. No more panicking when it's a rainy day and you know you'll be home alone with the kids.
2. No more house full of other peoples children who you helicopter in to entertain your own.
3. No more listening to the daily chant of "what are we doing today?"
4. No more Disney chanel TV !
5. No more magic mess. Magic mess being mess that seems to reappear just after you've made it disappear!
6. No more 'them' time and now there's time for 'you'.
7. No more yelling and screaming...you can get your voice back! ;)
8. No more expensive days out
9. No more excuses for a late night
10. No more "when are we back at school mum?"

And now ten reasons why not to be happy that it's time to go back to school

1. Bless them, you'll miss them
2. School runs are a drag what with traffic congestion, fashion parades with the other mums, gossip, early to rise
3. ...?

You know if you'd asked me this question at the start of the school holidays I am sure I'd have managed 10 reasons why you don't want your children to go back to school, but four weeks in and I'm counting the days!!
