What Do You Do When You Are Between the Chapters of Your Life?

A little something to ponder....
I think of life as a book that is full of chapters. Each life changing event represents the beginning of a new Chapter in your life and each new chapter is associated with a sense of anticipation, excitement and sometimes dread. But what do you do when one chapter ends and as yet a new one has not begun? You find yourself between chapters and you are in a state of limbo awaiting the unknown to happen.
I find myself in that place at the moment. One major chapter (all-be-it a short one) has drawn to a close and I am waiting to see what comes next. Something will come next as it inevitably does, but what?
Until that 'something' presents itself I must continue with the day to day routine, existing but not quite living...waiting.
I wonder how many people spend months and perhaps even years ...waiting.

Sleep not; for you know not when the hour cometh........Good article leah- Thanks Ella
I know what you mean...I'm in one of those "things" now...maybe waiting is good or maybe it is not--I don't know. Go for it or wait...go for it or wait? Such a short article yet pretty deep!
Thanks Steve..I'm still in limbo presently :) I have decided though that instead of 'waiting' to see what life has in store, to create and mould my own destiny. :) I shall be writing the next chapter of this book myself!
