Polyester allergy is a form of contact dermatitis and it manifests itself initially via itchiness at the site of contact (where the polyester touches the skin).

Allergy to Polyester is a growing problem and a source of great frustration for those who are allergic as polyester can be found in clothing, bedding, solvents, adhesives, nylon and spandex etc.

All of these things could contain enough polyester to cause an allergic reaction.

Allergies to Polyster can also result in a rash which can spread to form lesions.

The more severe reaction of shortness of breath is common among those who wear latex gloves while being allergic to polyester.

In my opinion the best form of treatment is avoidance. Avoid contact with all those things you suspect contain polyester.Wear clothing which is free of polyster and polyester threads.

I am told that the organic cotton clothing provided here is 100% organic cotton and contains all cotton fibres etc.
