Every Valentines Day and all those 'love' days in between when we're required (and of course want to) buy loved ones a special unique gift, we're bombarded by quite cheesy love gifts, which are all pink hearts and frilly bows. That's great if you like pink hearts and frilly bows, but what if you don't? I am pretty sure that most men don't!
So why is the message of love filled with 'cheese'?
The other extreme to cheesy, romantic love gifts is overtly sexual. Lots of cards and gifts with a saucy sexual theme to ignite the passion of the recipient. Chocolate sauces and love heart boxer shorts (edible if you're unlucky) are all the type of valentine gifts that will be soaring off shop shelves in the next couple of weeks.
I personally have reached the age where I neither want 'sauce' nor 'cheese' on valentines day! Like all difficult women though I do still want something 'gift' orientated! I shall have to start dropping some unsubtle hints for hubby!
Meanwhile I have been having fun creating some valentines gifts that still have the 'love theme' going on but don't have the 'cheese' , let me know what you think! Valentines Gifts Here. They do say adversity is the mother of invention!
