Cheeky School Children - Funny Teacher / Student Gag Cartoon

This funny gag cartoon featuring a school teacher and his student was inspired very recently by a story my mum was telling me about a cousin of mine. This scene actually occurred between him and his teacher many many years ago. I can just imagine my cousin Paul saying something cheeky like this and getting away with it, because he had a wide grin and engaging manner which was hard to take offence to. Anyway, I think it makes a rather amusing gag cartoon.

The best gag cartoons are inspired by real life stories and I hope to illustrate many more in the coming months. This particular cartoon was drawn by hand using fibre tipped black pen, then shaded and edited digitally using graphic design and drawing software. The software I use is Pixia which is a free program available for download on the Internet. It's very easy to use especially for a technophobe like me. You can see more cartoons on my cartoon blog.
