Series 6 of The Apprentice is back this week with Sir Alan Sugar at the helm of the UK version of this hit TV show. A handful of contestants battle to win favour with the multi-millionaire Amstrad man.

Here is a cartoon caricature I drew to capture Sir Alan Sugar expressing his famous catch phrase: "you are fired!"

Sir Alan Sugar reminds me a little of Sid James   ( famous for his role in Carry-On films) though he doesn't smile anything like as much!

Sir Alan Sugar originally from the East End of London has an estimated fortune of £830 million and has been ranked as the 59th richest man in the world. TV series The Apprentice made Sir Alan a TV celebrity in 2005 and has grown in popularity ever since.

I personally prefer the American version of The Apprentice, with Donald Trump at the helm. Perhaps I'll do a cartoon caricature of him next!
