How to remove Makeup and Waterproof Mascara Cheaply and Safely - Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes!

Ever since the birth of my first child nearly 7 years ago, I have been using Pampers Sensitive Baby Wet Wipes to cleanse my face, remove makeup and moisturize my skin. I figured if these moisture rich wipes are safe enough for use on a baby's skin then they are safe enough for mine! These wipes are perfume and alcohol free and are designed for sensitive skin.

The alternative to using these wipes was in the first instance soap and water which inevitably resulted in dry skin, soap scum around my sink and puddles on the floor.

However soap and water is often inadequate when it comes to removing makeup and very ineffective at removing waterproof mascara, hence in the second instance I would then  buy extra products specifically for this purpose.

Over the years I have spent a small fortune on traditional makeup removing products, such as cleansers, waterproof eye mascara lotion/pads all with variable results. These products are rarely cheap and often do not remove all the makeup satisfactorily especially the waterproof mascara which is known for its staying power.

This is why I love and recommend Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes, as a single wet wipe will remove all traces of my makeup including the waterproof mascara. The wet wipes are large enough to be able to remove makeup without cross contamination and thick enough to absorb the makeup residue and not tearing, which some wet wipes do. I find I use both sides of the wipe as they are so thick, the make up removed does not affect the reverse side of the wipe which is still clean.

I also allow my children to clean their faces with these wipes instead of soap and that saves a lot of tears as no more soap in the eyes!

My skin feels clean and moisturized after using these wipes.
I can purchase small travel sized packs for holidays and I buy in bulk to keep the price down.

I am not a dermatologist though, so if in doubt do consult one!

Well CB, wouldn't you know it that a bearded faced male would be your first response to this, as I obviously do not use make-up, well.....when I perform, I might, it depends. But I am going to tell my wife about this. She is always grumbling about  how to get her mascara off....well....maybe this will do the trick!!! I will tell her, and see what happens......Loved the article, both informative and a interesting read, I had to see where you were going with this one.....Sorry I haven't been around for about a week, but I'm bacccccccck, I was preparing for a gig to DJ for some folks that have been married for 60 years.....I wrote an article about it.....but good to be back and reading, hope all is well with you, and always a pleasure to read your articles....you fan, and friend in pen.........Gary.

This was so useful, because I'm using Lancome L'Extreme waterproof mascara, and totally forgot to ask the attendent how to take it off! Plus, cleanser and make up wipes are both totally drying out my skin at the moment, no matter how much or how many moisturizers I use per day!I'm definitely going to try these Pampers wipes.

Thank you so much!
